OBSERVATION TIPS

OBSERVATION TIP’S
1)    Choose a dark place away from your city lights.
2)    Switch off all the light’s near you and set you telescope if you are having it.
3)    Wait for some time for your eye’s to adjust their darkness absorption.
4)    Never use bright lights for verifying your sky map chart or anything else.
5)     Cover your torches with a red cellophane cover for viewing sky map chart or anything else. Because they create a very less distortion and do not shrink your iris.
6)    Never look at the sun directly or using a telescope unless you have a proper solar filter.
7)    Use yellow color lunar filter for watching the moon for better performance.
8)    Never expect you are going to watch the planets through your telescope as you observe in magazines, books etc.
9)    Never neglect warm clothes as the place you choose may be very cold due to open surface.
10)          Carry loads of music for fun after your observation.

Follow these steps for a better observation.
  Thank you.
